1. Scope of Services
Cutiscity provides online dermatology consultations via licensed and qualified dermatologists. The consultations are intended for:
• Preliminary assessment, guidance, and follow-up care.
• Emergency & Non-emergency dermatological advice.
• Recommendations for treatment, investigations, or referrals if needed.
2. Eligibility
By using Cutiscity, you confirm that:
• You are 18 years or older or have consent from a parent/legal guardian if under 18.
• You are located within the UAE at the time of consultation or you are a UAE resident.
• You provide truthful, accurate, and complete health information.
3. Nature of Consultation
• Teleconsultation is not always a substitute for an in-person clinical examination when necessary.• The dermatologist may advise you to visit a clinic for further physical examination, tests, or procedures or advise you to perform certain tests and revisit for further treatment.
• Diagnosis and treatment provided are based solely on information and visuals shared during the session.
4. Medical Records and Confidentiality
• Your personal and medical data will be handled confidentially and stored securely in compliance with UAE Federal Law on Data Protection and DHA/MOHAP requirements.• Recordings of consultations (audio, video, or chat transcripts) may be maintained for clinical governance, audit, and legal purposes, as mandated by local regulations.
5. Patient Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Provide accurate medical history, symptoms, and photos if requested.
• Follow the treatment plan, prescriptions, and instructions provided.
• Seek immediate in-person medical care in case of worsening symptoms or emergencies.
6. Fees and Payment
• Consultation fees are clearly communicated prior to booking and are non-refundable once the consultation has been delivered.• In the event the doctor is unable to proceed with the consultation (due to scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or technical issues), the paid amount will be transferred to the patient’s Cutiscity wallet.
• The wallet balance can be used for rescheduling future consultations or purchasing products available on the Cutiscity platform.
• Direct refunds may only be considered in exceptional cases upon written request and at the discretion of Cutiscity management.
7. Limitations
• Cutiscity consultations do not replace emergency care. For urgent or life-threatening conditions, you must contact 999 or the nearest emergency service.• Certain treatments, prescriptions, or medical certificates may not be issued through teleconsultation if deemed clinically inappropriate.
8. Consent
By proceeding with the consultation, you provide informed consent to:
• Participate in a remote consultation.
• Share relevant medical data and images for clinical assessment.
• Accept the limitations of telehealth as explained.
9. Liability
• Cutiscity and its providers commit to delivering care per the highest standards, but are not liable for:• Outcomes arising from incomplete, inaccurate information provided by patients.
• Delays caused by technical failures beyond our control.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, under the regulatory oversight of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP)
